CHRYL R CASSO CORIZZO GALLERY

CHERYL

Chryl Corizzo, a native of Louisiana, started art lessons at the Baton Rouge Fine Arts
Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at the age of twelve. She later assisted at
the Academy with childrens lessons as a teenager and by the time of high school
graduation, was selling the majority of her work in the Baton Rouge area.

Chryl continued her art during and after her college years, refining her skills and
completing many pieces of original work, both commissions and commercial art.
Now living in Mandeville, she attends the Mandeville satellite of the Baton Rouge
Fine Arts Academy.

Chryl uses a variety of techniques, including pencil, pastels, watercolor, acrylic,
oils and egg tempera. Her work has been accepted and exhibited in shows
sponsored by the Louisiana Watercolor Society, the National Acrylic Painter's
Association, the New Orleans Art Association and the St. Tammany Art
Association, as well as the Mississippi Watercolor Society and the Louisiana
Art and Artist Guild's River Road Show. Chryl was selected as the 2005
Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival poster artist. Her work may be seen at
the Pineapple Gallery in Mandeville, Louisiana.
